About the Portugal Summer Villas

There are two houses side by side. Each house is a two storey building on a sloping plot approached from the rear. The roads and parking areas have been designed so they are at the rear of the properties providing for a safe environment for families.

You enter on the upper floor into the entrance lobby. To the side is an ornate staircase which leads down to the bedrooms on the lower floor.

There is a separate kitchen which is fully equipped with everything required to self cater including an oven, microwave, extractor, kettle, toaster, dishwasher, washer dryer, iron and board and all the cutlery, crockery and utensils you expect to find in your own kitchen.

The Algarve is the beautiful southern coastline of Portugal. With its long sandy beaches, picturesque rocky coves, magnificent landscape and warm climate, it is a delightful destination to visit all year round. Portugal is easily accessible from all corners of the UK with regular, often bargain based flights departing many airports. Flying time to Faro Airport is under three hours.

Portugal has a flavour and ‘feel’ all of its own with lots to do, see and explore as well as a perfect location for relaxation. Dining is an experience in itself in The Algarve. Countless quaint, unique and affordable restaurants, serving imaginative and exciting dishes. The Portuguese people take great pride in making visitors welcome and ensuring a pleasant time is had by all. It is indeed a nation of restauranteurs with a very Mediterranean twist.

Try visiting the water parks of which there are a number. Visit Zoo marine an equatic wildlife park where you can swim with the dolphins. For more relaxed pursuits go and see Monchique in the mountains or the historical town of Silves to see the real Portugal. Go north to the Alentejo for superb Portuguese wines. Even Spain and Lisbon are reachable in a day (Lisbon is approximatley a two and a half hour drive)

For golfers the whole Algarve is accessible from this property. The closest courses are Penina and Palmares. All the courses near Faro are within easy striking distance. These include San Lorenzo, Vilasol, Quinta do Lago, Old Course Villamoura, Vale do Lobo – the list goes on. Because the property is only minutes away from the motorway journey times are short.

The property sleeps up to 6 people. It is spacious, well designed and practical. Both houses have been fitted out and equipped to the very highest standard. There is a cloakroom with a WC and wash hand basin. The lounge is a large room split into two areas for relaxation and for dining. The lounge is equipped with a large new flat screen TV with a selection of English channels, A DVD player and a stereo system. There is comfortable seating and a double sofa bed. The lounge can even be used as a third bedroom. The dining room has a large table with up to 8 chairs and storage in the form of a side board. From the lounge access is provided to the balcony patio area where there is seating so you can take in the views or watch the family in the swimming pool below.

On the lower floor there are two bedrooms each can be a double or twin to suit your requirements. Each has ensuite facilities, one with a bath and one with a shower. Patio doors lead out onto the private patio area which looks out over the swimming pool. Because the bedrooms are on the lower floor and set into the hillside at the back they are quiet and very cool in the summer.

The house is fully air-conditioned with separate controllable units in each bedroom and the lounge. The units can also heat the property when required. The house has electrically operated blinds to keep it cool during the day when not in use. There is a safety deposit box for valuables.
